Jon,
I don't think as a member of Auda and knowing the people involved I 
don't think Auda hosting the list would be a political issue. To be fair 
to Auda they do have a balanced view and have a respect of the past to 
the .au history.
I don't always agree with Auda but overall they do a good job.
Having said that as a hosting provider of some size I would as the CEO 
of the Total Internet Group be happy to host the DNS list going forward 
as a service to the net community in Australia.
Let me know if you want this to happen Kim?
