As a follow up to this post, I am pleased to announce that Wayne has indeed agreed to remove me from his list. He has also expressed a desire for me to make an apology for badmouthing his business practices (which I have refused to do). I have requested an apology from him, which he has not given either. He also disagrees with my interpretation of our discussion. We have agreed to disagree on our recollections of an event which took place some 6 months ago. The most interesting part was that Wayne has agreed to remove anyone who wishes to contact him. Anyone else plagued by these intrusions can contact Wayne via email - wayne§t3direct.com.au His direct quote so you can understand the nature of his offer is as follows; "I would prefer that you be aware that I am prepared to honour any legitimate request for removal, not some all§anydomain.com.au because we both know that many people actually like getting offers in the their mail box - real, virtual or internet.". I won't comment any further on that. Many thanks Richard for your assistance on this one. I suppose at the end of the day the proof will be in (or not in) my mailbox, but thanks at this early stage, we'll wait and see what happens. I for one will be a much happier 'net user when we see the back of spam.
