In more than a dozen classified rulings, the nation?s surveillance court has created a secret body of law giving the National Security Agency the power to amass vast collections of data on Americans while pursuing not only terrorism suspects, but also people possibly involved in nuclear proliferation, espionage and cyberattacks, officials say.

Twitter UK reports retained profits of less than ?100,000
Twitter, which is tipped for an $11bn (?7.3bn) stock market flotation in New York, has filed small company accounts in Britain, reporting retained profits last year of just ?92,408.

With allegations of various forms of cyber spying flying about, it?s probably useful to ask some questions. What is a reasonable expectation about privacy and the Internet? Should we now consider various forms of digital stalking to be "normal"? To what extent can we see information relating to individuals? activities online being passed to others? That last one is an interesting question, and in particular it's a question where we might be able to provide a small amount of data about such trafficking of information.

Australian Government Launches New Cloud Policy for Federal Agencies
The government of Australia introduced a new policy on Friday for how its agencies can use public cloud services. The new Protective Security Policy Framework builds on the National Cloud Computing Strategy released in May 2013, created to promote cloud use among small businesses, non-profit organizations and local government.
