ROI is always difficult to determine for shows but far higher than a couple
of geeks at the stand with a laptop. We usually get good results when we do
trade shows, and this one will be off the chart by comparison. The best one
we'd done was back in 2000 - free au.com domain names and free donuts on the
stand - we had a donut maker on the stand with queues for 50 meters of
people wanting donuts. Captive audience - we just wandered up and down the
queue telling people about NR. I think we registered 3000 au.com names in
three days.

Tech boom - those were the days!
