Personally, I'd approve a com.au of it based on the fact that it refers to a service they provide... provided they had a valid ABN/ACN... ...but this highlights the silliness of some of the restrictions. I think any entity would be foolish to not at least try to get the .com.au - even a non-profit organisation. Of course, if the .com is available, I'd strongly recommend you register that too. Not just as a registrar, but from a marketing perspective, you're foolish not to. We've come a long way since de-regulation.... but still got some way to go.
