look I hear you, I know where you are comming from. but I have tried it, it 
doesnt work. people place their core beliefs ahead of facts and reality. I 
dont know of any way of changing people core beliefs, they have to do it for 
themselves. by being direct I cut the heart of the topic rather then pussy 
footing around the edges at least it brings the issue to people attention, 
what they decide to do with it is up to them.
