Finally some sense. So what you want to do is to abolish the need for a Stat. Dec. in the transfer agreement, and replace it with a click-through/shrinkwrap style agreement on an online form? I'd agree to that, as long as they still have to tick a box and give a reason for the transfer, so that if it is a bogus transfer of registrant, the original registrant still has a way to get the registrant transfer reviewed and reversed. I think the domains should be able to be locked like the TLD's to prevent domain theft, maybe with the new registry contract coming up this could be added as a technical extra (Just a suggestion). -Sean. > -----Original Message----- > From: dns-bounces+sean.finn=ozservers.com.au§dotau.org [mailto:dns- > bounces+sean.finn=ozservers.com.au§dotau.org] On Behalf Of Bennett Oprysa > Sent: Monday, September 26, 2005 10:47 AM > To: .au DNS Discussion List > Subject: Re: [DNS] Time for the rules to > changeregardingtransferringdomainname licences > > As I have said, the current process for registrant transfers is far to > complex and difficult.
