Another scam on its way? 'The Fedreal Bureau of Domain Names'

Just had a call from a 'large Australian icon' to say FBOD has just rung them telling them that someone is trying to
register theirname.biz and FBOD has reserved it for the large Australian icon to stop these other people registering it.

 

The name is, of course, unregistered.

 

The guy at the large Australian icon asked who FBOD were and was told that it is the organisation the governs domain
names world wide.

 

Those of you in the business may care to inform your clients about FBOD.
