Nonsense. The .pro and your proposed .pro.au domain are completely
unrelated, unless perchance management of the .pro.au domain was
licensed out to the people running the .pro domain. And you can bet
your life there would be a stink kicked up if that were to happen!!

Seems like you want a .pro.au domain. Seems like nobody else wants one.
So the question is, do you want one badly enough to put a little
effort into writing up a proposal for same. Seems not. Case closed.

AuDA accept proposals for new .au domains. My understanding is that
auDA have considered the state of the .AU namespace along with all
received proposals for new 2LDs and decided that at this time there
is no need for further 2LDs within .AU.

Personally I am of the opinion that we have too many 2LDs within .au
already and I wholeheartedly support auDA in their decision not to
open any more (never thought you'd hear me say that, did you ;)
