Thanks all for your advice. I had contacted MelbourneIT twice and just now got a reply saying it isn't blocked and try again. They also mentioned the reason it may have failed is that over the past couple of weeks there has been an outage at the Verisign Registry. In any case, the request has just been put in again, so we'll see how we go.
