We have a formula that evaluates the level of registrar service down to a
dollar figure cost of doing business (per average domain rego) with a
specific registrar.

The domain cost to us is the registrar wholesale figure + the cost of
domain registration lifecycle through a specific registrar. Most often the
cheaper registrars have a higher cost of domain lifecycle than the more
expensive ones. Ie. buying a domain for $55 from registrar X costs us $66,
and buying a domain for $60 from registrar Y costs us $62.
