auDA is NOT a government body, auDA is a not-for-profit company.
The Australian Government has endorsed that auDA is an appropriate
entity to run .au, but the government does not own or control auDA.

But as was said, the answer to the original question about domain
passwords is "take it up with your registrar (or reseller)".
