I will not give them or anyone else a break. As I said before.. is this amateur hour? no... this is BUSINESS. If they WRONGLY say a domain is available, and someone attempts to register it, I am sure there are legal issues surrounding this.. lawyers can comment here please... They have a nice warm fuzzy webpage... but I want to know WHO I am dealing with... with all the registries.. I am not just picking on them... I want accountability.... These guys are running a damn registry... you think they would know if something was wrong with their systems. I want to see these companies run professionally.. not like ISP's used to (and some still do), which is very unprofessionally... The registries are not supposed to be backyard operations... and I don't want to see them acting like they are... This should not be a 'we will get it right, we are learning'... they are messing with peoples businesses, and you have to be careful or they will end up in court. ...Skeeve > -----Original Message----- > From: ginger FISH [mailto:cyrille.lefevre§scifi-art.com] > Sent: Tuesday, July 02, 2002 11:09 AM > To: dns§lists.auda.org.au > Subject: RE: [DNS] RE: [Oz-ISP] Enetica .au Registry is > screwed already > > > Dude, these people ( Enetica ) have done more in a couple of > days than most > of the other registrars will do in the coming weeks, why > don't you give them > a chance ?
