US OPPOSES EXPANSION OF WIPO MANDATE ON DOMAIN NAMES (from BNA
Internet Law News)
BNA's E-Commerce Law Daily reports that the U.S. expressed
opposition to a WIPO proposal to expand the UDRP to country
names and the names of international organizations at a
meeting in Geneva last week. The report suggest that only
the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand opposed the
WIPO secretariat proposal. The proposal is nevertheless
likely to be recommended for adoption at the next WIPO
annual meeting in September.

intestinal disease and less political clout than an orphan drug.

hovers on the brink of disaster it comes as no surprise that few are
aware of the situation and that even fewer care.
