Hi all,

I have just returned from two weeks of no email access, and it is
disappointing to browse through the weeks of list noise.

I have removed fake posters from the list, and I have sent some first
and final warnings out to serial offenders. In my experience, even with
the level of noise at the moment, the list is quite tame. Nonetheless, I
would rather have a slow list with interesting posts, than a busier one
where anything interesting gets buried in repetitive and boring slinging
matches.

Now, I am going to go through a process the unsubscribe requests the
recent threads have generated...
