My understanding is that this cut off date was
put in place avoid $ 2.00 companies, DNS
speculators and 'Business Name Johnny Come
Latelies' (for want of a better unholy
combination of commercial pariahs :-) that
someone complained so bitterly about earlier
today getting 'part of the action'

Imagine the wroth I would cop (on this list) if I
could under these auction rules register a
business name like 

Futon Logistics 

(in the Northern Territory where it costs nothing
as I understand to do) and then was allowed to
bid successfully for 

logistics.com.au

I have little doubt that a certain Adrian Stephan
Esq would make my life (not to mention Chris
Disspain's) unbearable at least for a small
period of time
