Hi Saliya

I'm sorry that it might seem I'm trying to have the last word.

The alternate root people will argue that they were there before ICANN and it
is ICANN who has created the problem with the introduction of the collider
.biz. Whilst technically true, the argument is weakened by the political
framework, viewed historically, under which ICANN operates.

So, in the end, after all the technical and business arguments are put, it
turns out to be basically a matter of *political* judgment. Do we support
ICANN against its challengers as the most politically sensible way of
resolving a practical problem ??

My answer is . . . "maybe".

Best regards
