| This morning Connect West identified a problem where a number of ASN.AU
| domains were found to be offline. Our technicians believe that a fault with
| the database caused zone files to be built from corrupted data. We were able
| to quickly rectify this problem with the assistance of auDA.
| 
| Here at Connect West we have always been proud of our track record in
| running a high availability Registrar Service, with this being the first
| major fault with this system in our six years of operation. We are currently
| enhancing the robustness of our system to ensure that this does not happen
| again.
