RARE DOMAINS.COM SUES VERISIGN OVER SEARCH ENGINE FEATURE Rare Domains.com is suing Internet addressing giant VeriSign for allegedly infringing on a patent for a search engine feature. The feature in dispute allows the search engine to check to see if a desired domain name has already been registered. The feature then provides available alternatives to the requested domain name if it is in fact taken.
