For the sake of clarity;

auDA is not a proprietary company. It is a company limited by guarantee. The
change discussed at the AGM, referred to below, simply meant that auDA could
no longer drop the word LIMITED from its name. It did not and has not
changed its status.

AGM, Melbourne, late last year. Were you there?
See the Minutes for the exact form or words.
Roughly, according to my notes at the time
"because of ...  [re-arrangements, to use a
neutral term] auDA is now back to being a Pty Ltd".
