When you reply to posts it makes it easier for others if you trim the item leaving only the relevent bit of any previous email. Your 'short and sweet' post was 12k long because of the previous post you 'replied' to - and the subject line was from this previous post as well which probably needed changing as well. You're new to the list so no problem - just good to know. 2. In my opinion you have made a mistake on a couple of fronts with regards to your domain name. Firstly one could go on forever with variations of liberal party as a domain name in .net, .org, .com etc and I think there is a lot to be said for any party to just use .org.au as they seem to have done. In fact a .com of some sort if probably the worst thing any political party could go for. The other problem is that its long and quite honestly who would bother with such a contrived domain name? "liberal.org.au" is far superior on all accounts. (not to mention you probably won't be able to use the domain name you have aquired anyway. See the 'sydneyoperahouse.net' stories and others on the net for the latest legal problems people who grab these sorts of names are facing. regards doug ----------------------------------------------------------- Doug Robb Clarity Software Pty Ltd http://clarity.com.au GPO Box 763 Phone: 0403 02 2527 Nedlands 6909 Fax: (618) 93867564 Australia email: doug§clarity.com.au -----------------------------------------------------------Received on Fri Dec 08 2000 - 18:19:39 UTC
