Hi All,

A company called "Internet Name Protection" recently contacted one of our
customers regarding the renewal of their domain name. 

Now while this is annoying enough as it's poaching, the bad part of it is
the company is trying to look official by calling itself
internetname.com.au.

The renewal came in via fax from E4fax Limited (www.E4fax.com) addressed to
"Accounts Payable" at the non-existent company, Snowdaisy Pty Ltd, 8 Bolger
Place, Booragoon WA 6154. I believe this subject has come up on the list
before by someone who received the notice via email. 

This person has been operating this scam since at least 11/11/1999 that was
when the Internet Name Group Pty Ltd 
was registered. Other domains/businesses they have are...

VIC B1517878J INTERNET NAME REGISTRATION
internetnameregistration.com.au
VIC B1517889P INTERNET NAME MANAGEMENT        internetnamemanagement.com.au
ACN 090507887 INTERNET NAME GROUP PTY LTD     internetnamegroup.com.au
VIC B1517896L INTERNET NAME PROTECTION        internetnameprotection.com.au
VIC B1457287L INTERNET NAME PROTECTION AGENCY internetname.com.au
ACN 087441450 OPEN YOUR MIND ADVERTISING PTY LTD openyourmind.com.au

These ones are also suspicious but I can't find the domains for them...

VIC B1493866C INTERNET NAME RENEWALS

They also have a previous advertising company, Open Your Mind, which was
registered on 05/05/1999
