The ancient Athenians were spot on when they recognized that in a small Democracy one man could become too powerful. They used to have a practice called ostracism where if enough of the citizens voted against them they would be exiled for the good of the body politic. If news.com.au was given out after the generic test was introduced then perhaps an investigation should be undertaken. auDA might be the right body, perhaps with a report freely available on the web. If it has happened, it is NOT right! Subjective rules and policy greyness be dammed. I for one am sick of the cronyism in this country. If we all sit around twitching our thumbs then we deserve what we get dished out... I think that reform MUST happen and it must be fair to all players big and small..... If anyone on the auDA board reads this please get the reform path kick started. I for one would answer the call. And I'd say I am not the only one out there....
