Most of the traffic on this list bears no resemblance or reference to genuine proposals to alter the administration of .COM.AU or of .AU. This list is losing major stakeholders in the operation of DNS at a rate of knots. As a result of both of the above, this list can no longer be regarded as a mechanism for acheiving consulation with major stakeholders. I remind the IIA that this needs to be demonstrated before any change to the administration of .AU can take place. I suggest that IIA remove the obvious offenders from the mailing list or control the content of postings to the list. I encourage IIA to open channels of consulation with stackholders that do not rely upon the operation of this mailing list.
